Santiago Ramon y Cajal

Santiago Ramon y Cajal was born in Navarrese in 1852.
In 1889 the German Anatomical Society presented internationally the work Ramon and Cajal, later being invited by the Real Society of London and being invested in 1994 doctor Honoris causes by the University of Oxford and Cambridge.
In 1891 the theory of the dynamic Polarization of the neurons elaborated.
Untiring worker, published more than 200 articles in national and foreign magazines and several books between which they are possible to be mentioned: Manual of normal HistologĂ­a and technical micrograph (1889) Manual of general pathological Anatomy (1890), Texture of the nervous system of the man and the vertebrates (1904).
